Refund policy

At HOUSE OF RJMCLEAN pieces are custom, commissioned, made-to-order, or specially sourced. To secure your order, a non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit confirms your place in our production schedule and allows design, sourcing, preparation, and production to begin. Once your item is completed, all sales are final and the item cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

To discuss an order concern, you can contact us at support@rjmclean.com. Please note that returns will only be considered where written approval has been provided by HOUSE OF RJMCLEAN.

Items sent back to us without first contacting us and receiving written approval will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including custom products, commissioned pieces, made-to-order items, bespoke furniture, personalized items, specially sourced materials, artistic pieces, and home décor made or prepared specifically for a client.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on completed custom orders, sale items, or gift cards.

Exchanges
As HOUSE OF RJMCLEAN pieces are custom, bespoke, or made-to-order, we do not offer exchanges once an item has been completed. Please ensure all order details, dimensions, finishes, materials, and requirements are confirmed before production is finalized.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification, unless the item is custom, personalized, made-to-order, or produced to your specific requirements. As above, any approved return must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable. Once an item has been completed, no refund will be issued. If an issue is raised relating to damage, defect, or an incorrect item, we will review the matter and advise on the appropriate resolution.

If a refund is approved in exceptional circumstances, we will notify you once the matter has been reviewed. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
